About Me

User Experience is like a map. The map is a system that guides the user to travel within the boundaries. Our systems are created by applied logic and mental models that guide the user through the journey of the functionality. Creating an innovative experience would make following the map intuitive.

My journey in user experience started with my first Informatics class to several internships spanning web design, product management, and product design. I now am the Lab Manager of the User Experience Lab at the University of Tennessee. This is a role that allows me to mentor and train students in design and research skills and also provide accessibility and heuristic evaluations to external clients in Knoxville. The balance in this role has helped me become very well rounded in User Experience. I have gained confidence in using research softwares, mapping design, and honing managerial skills. Through my journey, I followed a trail and created my own map, which has lead me to wonderful experiences and gaining knowledge.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new places and traveling with my family. I also enjoy biking, museums, and visiting new restaurants. I am open to any opportunity in user experience, so please feel free to get it touch!
